Thanksgiving Poem

Thanksgiving is like your birthday, selebrated with your family,
even though you dont get presants you still get the joy of having.
the feeling that you get is like a box full of chocolet,
you never know what surprise your gonna get.
My moms cooking is like an angels touch,
its has a taste, that you just cant get enouph.
her coolaid is so sweet, that no one can beat.
the smell of candels feel the air, with the warm sinsation,
of jucy pairs.
i love thanksgiving like a fat kid loves cake,
i will love to spend it with my family, no matter what it takes.

Theme

At first, I thought theme was a characters point of view, but I learned that this was wrong.Actually, theme is a message the author conveys in a story about a topic.
Some themes are universal, which means that, there can be more than just one.
Themes are can be found in all genres of literature; the five main genres of literature are
Drama
Fiction
Non-fiction
Historic
Science-fiction

Since I now understand theme, I can find the theme of my favorite movie. My favorite movie is “what’s love got to do with it” The theme of this movie is even though love is strong you sill have to put your foot down.

On my theme pretest, I was below grade-level. On my post test, I hope that I will be above grade-level.

My Goal for this school quarter

This quarter, I will try to get a 3.0 or a 4.0, and let no drama distract me from learning.
In order to achieve this, I will do all of my homework and mind my own business.

This quarter, I will try and talk to Ms. Priester If I have a problem with things.
In order to achieve this, I will talk to Ms. Priester if I have an issue instead of throwing a fit and not talking to her.

This quarter, I will do well in all my classes.
In order to achieve this, I will pay attention to my work more and actually try on tests and do my own work.
